Central Idea: Art is a process of planning, organizing, and sharing the spaces and places that are important to us
Places and spaces are important to us.
Places where we live, work, gather or play have a special place in our hearts. Chances are, they are a reflection of who we are as a community and as an individual. Students learned a bit about architecture, architects, buildings and symmetry. The students were thinking as architects by imaginging how they might create an artwork to plan a home or building for their family.
